My First Speaking “Gig”

Gooooood afternoon!

I hope you read that with the presenter’s voice I had in my head when I typed it.

I’m excited to share with you all that I will be one of the speakers at the ‘Calm it Down it Will Grow’ event this Sunday.

I’ve been asked to speak about the politics of afro hair.

I’m excited because I have a lot of opinions, some of which I share with you all, but it would be nice to hear the rebuttals and/or the agreements in person.

It’s quite different from me posting a blog because I don’t always get the privilege of hearing what you think!

Will you be around to stop by? It’s a free event!

I hope to see you there, the details are in the flyer below…

With Love,

Nwadiogo
